It seems that certain very sophisticated fellow world-citizens have decided that the U.S. decision to dispatch an aircraft carrier to Indonesia is a sign of a) knee-jerk American militarism, b) George W. Bush's stupidity, or c) both.
Now, as you're probably beginning to learn, I'm a frustrating person. Because, on the one hand, I'm no particular fan of George Bush. And on the other hand, I'm no particular fan of lazy, myth-dominated, fact-impoverished, reflexive anti-Bush, either.
Which I why I found this particularly impressive.
